Eligibility Criteria
To apply for SSC CHSL 2025, candidates must have passed 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized board or university. For Data Entry Operator Grade A, the candidate must have studied Science stream with Mathematics.
The minimum age required is 18 years and the maximum is 27 years as on 1st August 2025. Relaxation in upper age limit is provided for reserved categories as per government rules.
Application Fee
General, OBC, and EWS category candidates are required to pay Rs. 100 as the application fee. SC, ST, women candidates, ex-servicemen, and persons with disabilities (PwD) are exempted from paying the fee. The fee can be paid online via UPI, net banking, or debit/credit cards.
Selection Process SSC CHSL Recruitment 2025
SSC CHSL 2025 selection process consists of three stages. The first is a Computer-Based Test (Tier 1) consisting of English, General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness sections. Each section carries equal weightage and there is negative marking of 0.50 marks for every wrong answer.
Tier 2 is a descriptive paper in English or Hindi. It includes an essay and letter/application writing. The duration is one hour.
Tier 3 is a Skill Test or Typing Test. For LDC/JSA, candidates must have typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi. For DEO, a speed of 8000 key depressions per hour is required.

Interested candidates must first register on the SSC official website (ssc.nic.in) through One-Time Registration (OTR). After successful registration, login and complete the application form. Upload a recent photograph and signature, pay the application fee, and submit the form.
