Educational Qualification & Eligibility Criteria
1. Head of the Department (HoD)
Qualification:
Postgraduate degree in Science / Mathematics / Social Science / Commerce / Languages.
M.Ed degree with Ph.D. in Education.
Any other qualification prescribed by UGC.
Experience: 10 years of teaching experience in a teacher education institution for Professor OR 8 years for Associate Professor.
Desirable: Diploma/Degree in Educational Administration or Leadership.
2. Assistant Professor (Liberal Discipline and Pedagogy)
Qualification:
Master’s degree in the concerned subject/language with minimum 55% marks.
B.Ed. degree with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.
Must have cleared NET / SLET / SET or hold a Ph.D. degree in Education/concerned subject as per UGC guidelines.
Desirable: M.Ed. (preferably with specialization in Elementary Education) or Ph.D. in Education.
3. Assistant Professor (Educational Studies)
Qualification:
M.Ed. degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
Passed NET / SLET or holds a Ph.D. in Education as per UGC norm.
