Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications:
Essential Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Geography, Geology, Mathematics, Geo-Informatics, Physics, Computer Science or a related discipline with a Certificate/Diploma in GIS & Remote Sensing or Geo-Informatics.
OR
- M.Tech / M.Sc. in GIS & Remote Sensing / Geo-Informatics.
OR
- MCA / MA / MSc in Geography, Geology, Mathematics or Environmental Science with Geo-Informatics as one of the subjects or a Certificate/Diploma in GIS/Remote Sensing/Geo-Informatics.
Desirable Qualification
Preference will be given to candidates having:
- Knowledge of ArcGIS, QGIS, ArcPro, AutoCAD, Global Mapper.
- GIS Mapping & Remote Sensing knowledge.
- Drone Survey & Image Processing.
- GeoJSON, KML, Shape Files and Coordinate Systems.
- Geospatial Data Analysis experience.
Experience
- GIS-related work experience or internship is preferred.
- Candidates having minimum 2 years of relevant experience will get preference.
- RCCC-trained candidates with GIS knowledge will also be preferred.
