Vacancy Details Assam VFA Recruitment 2026
A total of 200 Veterinary Field Assistant and allied cadre posts are advertised under the Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Department, Assam.

Educational Qualification

Mandatory One-Year Training
A major condition of the recruitment is the mandatory one-year training after selection.
Selected candidates must undergo one year of training in Elementary Knowledge of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science at the School of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Assam, Ghungoor, Silchar, and its extended campuses under the Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Department.
Candidates must pass this training before appointment with the prescribed pay scale.
