Cotton University Junior Assistant Recruitment 2025: Pay Scale
- Pay Scale: Rs. 14,000 to Rs. 70,000 per month
- Grade Pay: Rs. 8,700
- Pay Band: As per Assam State Government rules
- Other allowances will be admissible as per Government norms .
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- Graduate degree from a UGC-recognized University
- Working knowledge of Computer
- Proficiency in English and Assamese (reading, writing and speaking)
- Ability to perform multi-tasking
Desirable:
Working experience in Government offices, reputed Government institutions of Higher Education or Research Institutions will be preferred .
Cotton University JA Post 2025: Age Limit
- Age will be calculated as on 01 July 2025
- Upper age limit will be as per Government of Assam O.M. No. ABP.6/2016/51 dated 2 September 2020
Age proof will be accepted only from HSLC or equivalent admit card or certificate showing date of birth .
Note:
There is no upper age limit for regular employees of Cotton University applying for the post.

- Application Processing Fee: Rs. 1,000
- SC/ST Candidates: 50 percent relaxation
- Fee is non-refundable
Reserved category candidates applying for unreserved posts must pay full fee without concession .
Selection Process
The selection process will consist of:

- Skill Test
