Eligibility Criteria – Sivasagar GIS Assistant Recruitment 2025
Age Limit:
- Minimum: 21 years
- Maximum: 45 years (as on 01.01.2025)
Educational Qualification:
- Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geology, Mathematics, Geo-informatics, Physics, or Computer Science
- Certificate/Diploma in GIS & Remote Sensing or Geo-informatics
- OR
- M.Tech./M.Sc./M.A. in GIS, Remote Sensing, Geo-informatics, Geography, Geology, Mathematics, or Environmental Science with relevant Diploma
- Desirable:
- Proficiency in GIS software like ArcGIS, QGIS, AutoCAD, Global Mapper
- Knowledge of data analysis, GIS mapping, and report generation
- Strong communication and computer skills
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience preferred
- Preference to RCCC trained candidates with GIS knowledge
Job Responsibilities
- Digitization and analysis of cadastral and non-cadastral village maps
- Preparation of GIS reports, data management, and spatial mapping
- Coordination with Circle Offices for GIS tasks
- Drone photo interpretation and data processing
