- Age Limit: 60 to 65 years as on 01.07.2025
- Qualification: Candidate must be a retired AFS officer
Scope of Work:
The selected Financial Advisor will handle various important administrative and financial functions such as:
- Preparation of budget
- Procurement and vetting of sanctions
- Audit observations
- Monitoring of pensions, services, and administrative expenses
- Allocation of government funds
- Monitoring and auditing of HMS and College Sections
- Ensuring financial discipline across departments
- Preparing utilization certificates and project reports for GoA/GoI schemes
- Coordination with government auditors and fund-utilizing agencies
The FA will also play a key role in expediting administrative procedures and financial operations to improve institutional efficiency.
Remuneration:
- The salary will be fixed based on the “last pay minus pension” formula as per Circular No. DME/Estt./643395/5 dated 09-07-2025 issued by the Director of Medical Education, Assam.
