The NHPC Limited has released a fresh notification for Apprentice Recruitment 2026. NHPC is a leading Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, known for hydroelectric power generation projects across India.

This recruitment drive invites applications from young, talented, and energetic candidates for Apprenticeship Training of 1 year in various trades such as Graduate, Diploma, and ITI.

Parbati-II Project (Himachal Pradesh) – 28 Posts

Stipend / Salary Details

As per stipend table :

Graduate Apprentice: ₹15,000/month
Diploma Apprentice: ₹13,500/month
ITI Apprentice: ₹12,000/month

Additional DBT benefit also provided by Government of India.

Age Limit

Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 30 years

Age relaxation applicable as per rules

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must:

Have relevant Degree / Diploma / ITI qualification
Be medically fit
Not have completed previous apprenticeship

Candidates awaiting results are NOT eligible

Selection based on merit

Merit Calculation:

Graduate:
- 10th (20%) + 12th/Diploma (20%) + Graduation (60%)
Diploma:
- 10th (30%) + Diploma (70%)
ITI:
- 10th (30%) + ITI (70%)

Direct merit-based selection.

Training Details

Training Duration: 1 Year
Location: Across NHPC projects

Hostel facility available or ₹2500 allowance
