Eligibility Criteria IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2025
Assistant Executive Engineer
- Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 6 years’ experience in supervision/design/estimation/maintenance of electrical installations, sub-stations, HT & LT distribution systems, building electrification.
OR - Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 6 years’ experience in maintenance of air-conditioning system (3000TR water cooled/air cooled chilled water based & 1800 HP VRV AC).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 6 years’ experience in supervision/design/estimation/maintenance of electrical installations, sub-stations, HT & LT distribution systems, building electrification.
- Age Limit: Up to 35 years (No upper age limit for regular IIT Guwahati employees).

Junior Translator
- Educational Qualification:
- Master’s Degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory/elective subject OR
- Master’s Degree in English with Hindi as a compulsory/elective subject.
- Additional Qualification:
- Diploma/Certificate Course in Translation (English to Hindi & vice versa).
- Minimum 2 years’ translation experience in Central/State Government Offices or PSUs.
- Age Limit: Up to 30 years (No upper age limit for regular IIT Guwahati employees).
