Eligibility Criteria for BSF HC RO & RM Recruitment 2025
Educational Qualification
For Radio Operator:
- Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as regular subjects from a recognized board, OR
- Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Certificate in Radio/Electronics/Telecommunication from a recognized institute.
For Radio Mechanic:
- Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as regular subjects from a recognized board, OR
- ITI Certificate in Radio/Electronics/Telecommunication/Computer Hardware from a recognized institute.
Age Limit
- General Candidates: 18 to 25 years
- OBC Candidates: 18 to 28 years
- SC/ST Candidates: 18 to 30 years

BSF HC RO & RM Salary
The selected candidates will get a pay scale of Level 4 (₹25,500 – ₹81,100) along with allowances such as Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance, and other admissible benefits as per BSF rules.
Selection Process
The BSF Head Constable selection process will consist of:
- Written Examination (Objective type)
- Physical Standard Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Descriptive Test
- Medical Examination
- Final Merit List

- SC / ST / Female Candidates: Exempted from fee.
